Where should I try and Publish My Poetry?
I write in a newer more unconventional style. My favorite poet is Sylvia Plath. I do not rhyme under any circumstances. I do most of my poetry reading online written by other underdogs, so I don’t know what publishes what. Any ideas on who would at least consider publishing my poetry? I just don’t want to waste my time submitting work to places that are looking for something completely different. Thanks ahead of time
The book “Poet’s Market” (your local library might have a copy) is full of information about journals that publish poetry.

You’re smart to be concerned about submitting only to journals that publish the type of poetry you write. That’s why you should always read a journal before submitting, in order to get a feel for the quality and style of work that they’re interested in.
